Making a yearly excursion to the Knoydart peninsula, Doune makes the perfect base for travelling around the inner Hebridean small isles of Canna, Rum, Muck and Eigg with the odd trip to Skye's less inhabited regions and one year making a pilgrimage to Hyskeir an unhinhabited rock with the exception of  bird and seal colonies.
